How can you be a part?

You need only to look in the excited, hopeful faces of these little ones to realize what Jesus meant in Matthew 25:40.

First we need your prayers!

We have realized time and time again that it was not our effort, but God's marvelous hand that did the work. We ask that you pray for laborers willing to give their time and expertise to build and staff Matthew's House.

Maybe God has laid it upon your heart to do a certain work for Romania. We encourage you to participate as God leads and experience the reward reserved for the faithful.

Specific Ways that God's people have helped Matthew's House:

Coins for Calves. Recently a teen Sunday School class initiated a project to raise money for Matthew's House to purchase calves. The class set a goal of $600. When the project was complete, over $2200 had been raised. Praise the Lord! These calves are now being purchased. They will be cared for until they are grown, and then given free of charge to families in Romania who are in desperate need of milk for their children. As we meet the physical needs of children and their families, we pray that God will use us to minister to these precious souls and address their great spiritual need as well.

Help is On It's Way! This church group arrived during the fall of 2009 ready to swing those hammers! It wasn't exactly a picnic - sleeping on cots, no electricity, transported by horse and wagon to and from the work site..........but, these men came with a willingness and desire to do all they could for two weeks to help get Matthew's House under roof. What a blessing when God's people put prayer into action!
