Prayer, Our Ultimate Need

Last Update: 24 May, 2006

Often folks ask me when I am here in the states, “What do you need?” They generally expect to hear about financial needs. But our most urgent need has always been and continues to be prayer! But what is our main prayer request? The answer is for the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into his harvest field. For 15 years I along with others have prayed for men and women filled with the Holy Ghost of God, whose lives are sold out to his good pleasure. In the last year the Lord has sent 2 such couples to serve the Lord in Romania at Matthew’s House.

The first couple is Chris and Carmen Otto from Johnson Creek, Wisconsin. Chris is currently serving as Vice President of Matthew’s House Romania. A welcomed addition along with his fine wife and children. Chris has a concrete finishing company in Wisconsin, and has plied his trade to help many other mission groups with concrete work; as well as Matthew’s House. They are a God send to the work in Romania and I am certain the Lord will bless them in a mighty way, as God fulfills his purpose for their lives. Christ and Carmen are members of Faith Freewill Baptist Church at New Berlin Wisconsin.

Last fall the Lord moved on the hearts of another couple to come to Romania and serve him at ministries at Matthew’s House. They are Troy and Hilary Bordeaux from Wilson, North Carolina. Troy was the youth pastor of Wildwood Freewill Baptist Church. This couple have for the last several months been traveling around the south raising their support for the ministry God has given them. Romania is a vast gold mine for child evangelism and I am certain Troy and Hilary will be mining these precious children for the Lord Jesus.

More prayers answered as God shows his faithfulness toward his people. Please keep all of us on your prayer lists
